On 10 and 11 December 2025, the biennial BCD will once again be held at Kortrijk Xpo. Gatehouse will be offering a number of kiosks for testing purposes.

The first edition of the Business Contact Days took place in 1988, also at Kortrijk Xpo. It was an initiative of Xpo Group in collaboration with VOKA – Chamber of Commerce West Flanders. The concept was innovative: a networking event where both exhibitors and visitors are entrepreneurs. The first edition attracted 160 exhibitors and 2,500 visitors.
The hugely successful event is now in its 20th edition and has grown to become the largest B2B trade fair in West Flanders. It now attracts more than 500 exhibitors and 17,000 visitors. All sectors are represented, including industry, construction, ICT, retail, transport, etc.
Despite digitalisation, the need for physical meetings remains high. The event combines a business approach with a warm, informal atmosphere. There are numerous side activities, of which the central giant bar is the most popular. Here, the event works overtime every edition 😁😁😁
The success in Kortrijk led to spin-offs in other VOKA regions such as Bruges, Antwerp, Mechelen and Hasselt.
