As a Seveso-regulated company, it is essential for us to maintain an accurate visitor list at all times. In the event of an emergency, we need to know exactly who is present on site. For this reason, all visitors, contractors, and drivers are registered upon arrival.
In the past, visitor registration was managed through a spreadsheet. While this approach was functional, it left more room for errors and offered limited follow-up capabilities. We therefore decided to digitize the process. With Gatehouse, we now have a more reliable system that ensures visitors are consistently registered and tracked.
Our search for a suitable solution started through Google. We ultimately chose Gatehouse because of its competitive pricing and straightforward, user-friendly operation. Today, we are very satisfied with the system.
As part of the registration process, visitors are shown an instructional safety video, ensuring that important information is communicated consistently. While digital registration takes slightly longer than a paper-based process, it significantly increases the likelihood that visitors actually receive and review the required instructions. In practice, some visitors still require assistance during the registration process.
The system is managed by our receptionist, prevention advisor, and logistics manager, all of whom have access to the administrative platform and visitor lists.
