We first came into contact with Gatehouse through a sales representative. A few months later, following the departure of a receptionist, the perfect opportunity arose to digitise our visitor registration process. Gatehouse proved to be exactly the right solution for this.
At our large site, we welcome customers and suppliers every day. Thanks to Gatehouse, staff receive an immediate notification when a visitor arrives, including the visitor’s contact details. This ease of use is greatly appreciated internally. In addition, the system also helps us to comply with food safety and fire safety requirements.
Previously, registration was done in a paper visitor book. Today, everything is handled digitally via a single clear and seamless process that is simple for everyone to use and fully GDPR-compliant. Although registration takes a little longer, this actually offers added value as visitors view important safety instructions on screen.
Gatehouse’s flexibility played a key role in our decision. We were able to work seamlessly with our own PC within a separate network, whilst the system was up and running quickly with a simple internet connection. The local service and rapid support also make all the difference to us.
Visitors hardly need any help during registration, and the previous telephone calls via reception have completely ceased. This not only saves time but also ensures a more professional welcome for visitors in multiple languages.
The IT department manages the system and has access to visitor data. We are particularly satisfied with our collaboration with Gatehouse, and with Stef in particular. From the demo to installation and follow-up, everything went smoothly, professionally and with excellent service.
